Analyzes elements and principles of art in the production of one’s art and crafts inspired by the arts of Luzon (highlands and lowlands)

Identifies characteristics of art and crafts in specific areas in Luzon (e.g., paper mache [taka] from Paete, Ifugao wood sculptures [bul’ul], Cordillera jewelry and pottery, tattoo, and Ilocos weaving and pottery [burnay],etc.)

Music 9 is designed to equip students with the basic knowledge and skills to recognize, distinguish and familiarize students with the music of the Western, its forms and instruments.

This course is designed for grade 8 learners to demonstrates understanding of family health and prevention and control of diseases and disorders (communicable and non-communicable to achieve, sustain, and promote family health and wellness.)

The learner should demonstrates understanding of salient features of Western Music and the Arts from different historical periods, through appreciation, analysis, and performance for self-development, the celebration of Filipino cultural identity and diversity, and the expansion of one's world vision.

This course is about the Arts and Crafts of Highland and Lowland Luzon. Students will be given a visual tour of the unique and indigenous arts and crafts of Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, Cagayan, Central Luzon and CALABARZON. Students are tasked to study and analyze the different elements and principles of art, materials and designs used by artisans to produce these crafts. They are also expected to make or create their own designs of some selected examples of arts and crafts by taking into consideration the  patterns and designs unique in each region.

This Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) is designed to allow you, our beloved students, to continue your studies and learn at home. Each lesson's activities, directions, exercises, and discussions are all clearly written so that you can comprehend them.

This instructional resource aims to engage students in guided and independent learning activities that they can complete at their own pace and on their own time. Additionally, this attempts to assist learners in acquiring the necessary 21st century abilities while also taking into account their ability to adapt to change.

MUSIC 

A component of MAPEH which aims to discuss fundamentals and theories that every student should learn through singing, listening, reading, playing, and creating. This also brings the students to a deeper understanding and greater knowledge of the Philippine music history. 

ARTS 

Component of MAPEH that needs to be acquired, developed, and appreciated. This component focuses on how the elements of arts are organized, the functions of art, the mediums and techniques used, and history of art. 

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

 This component allows students to become more equipped to learn about body mechanics, good posture, and different games and sports activities. Values like cooperation, teamwork, concern for others, sportsmanship and self-confidence are also focused. This part of MAPEH program enhances the knowledge and skills of students in different areas of Physical Education promoting active lifestyle among students. 

HEALTH 

This MAPEH component gives the students a direct knowledge in stages of growth and development, availability and functions of first aid services, different health disorders and nutritional values for a adopting a healthy lifestyle

This module is designed for you, as a Grade 8 learner, to explore knowledge and skills that will help you and your family develop a lifelong habit of physical fitness and wellness.

INTRODUCTION The advancement brought about by science and technology has made life easier. Unfortunately, the luxury of just pushing a button or clicking a mouse is leading us to a sedentary lifestyle. In order to meet the demands of daily routines and activities, it requires a fitter and healthier mind and body which can be achieved through active participation in physical activities like sports officiating. This module dares to answer this pressing concern as it introduces the learner to the world of sports officiating; its basics which include both the personal and professional qualities that an officiating official should possess. Real life experiences and challenges will be given relative to sports officiating to help you enhance your fitness, management skills, and positive behavior such as integrity, teamwork, discipline, sound judgment and impartiality.
