Paranaque Elementary School Unit II In-Service Training 2024
The Mid-Year In-Service Training for Parañaque Elementary School Unit II during the School Year 2023-2024, held from January 24-26 and 29-30, 2024, revolves around the theme "MATATAG: Sustainability of Passion, Excellence, Service." Committed to the school's motto of Passion, Excellence, and Service, this training embodies the dedication to providing quality education through continuous teacher development. The rationale stems from the school's commitment to refining teaching techniques and staying updated with the latest educational trends, technologies, and research. The training also addresses the need for remediation in reading, numeracy, and emotional management, identified through the division's Rapid Literacy, Numeracy, and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Assessment.
Aligned with the Department of Education's MATATAG curriculum, the terminal objective is to conduct a School-based In-Service Training (INSET) with the participation of 59 teachers. The enabling objectives include upskilling teachers in pedagogical approaches for improved learning outcomes, strengthening SEL integration for a positive learning environment, addressing learning loss by providing tools and resources, and recognizing partnerships among stakeholders to reinforce the collaborative educational community. The overarching aim is to empower teachers with continual opportunities to enhance their teaching methodologies, integrate innovative approaches, and stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies, ultimately contributing to the sustained excellence of Parañaque Elementary School Unit II.
