MATHEMATICS 5 QUARTER 3 WEEK 1
Target Competency: Visualize percent and its relationship to fractions, ratios, and decimal numbers using models. Define percentage, rate
or percent, and base. Identify the base, percentage, and rate in a problem. Find the percentage in a given problem. Solve routine and
non-routine problems involving percentage using appropriate strategies and tools.
MATHEMATICS 6
This course is intended for the grade six learners. This course is all about performing Operations on Integers (2nd Quarter Week 8)
MATHEMATICS 7
This course is intended for the grade 7 students of Las Pinas East National High School for the first Quarter of school year 2021 - 2022.
MATHEMATICS 7 - QUARTER 1
SET in Mathematics is defined as a collection of well-defined distinct objects.
Note that well-defined means having clearly distinguishable characteristics or features. When you list down the members of the group you will have the same opinion compared with other people. Not well-defined means the result when you list down the members of the group will not be absolute or clear that people will different results.
Mathematics 7 First Quarter
The course contains lessons and activities for Mathematics 7 quarter 1. It includes
Mathematics 7 Quarter 1 Module 1 - SETS
Universal Sets
Subsets
Null Sets
Cardinality of Sets
Mathematics 7 Quarter 1 Week 1
In Mathematics 7, Number Sense is a group of skills that allow people to work with numbers. These skills are key to doing math - and many other tasks.
Number sense is an important construct that separates surface level understanding from subject mastery. Find out how it affects mathematical fluency and how learners can develop it.
The construct of number sense refers to a student’s fluidity and flexibility with numbers. It helps student understand what numbers mean, improving their performance of mental mathematics, and giving them the tools to look at math in the outside world and make comparisons.
Mathematics 7_ 305458 S.Y 2021-2022
Quarter I: Demonstrates understanding of key concepts of sets and the real number system.
Mathematics 8 - Quarter 1 Week 2
In this course, you will understand more about factoring, specifically, Factoring General Trinomials.
Factoring is your gateway to doing big things in life. If you want be a chemist or astronomer or ecologist or physicist, or programmer or be your own boss and have a competitive edge, or do anything beyond working the 9-to-5; if you want to be a leader in your field and do big things, you will need skills in mathematics which are built upon college algebra, and for that you need to learn about factoring. That is why these skills are important. Those who have math skills earn more money. That is why you should learn about Algebra. That is why you should learn about factoring.
A polynomial with three terms is called a trinomial. Trinomials often (but not always!) have the form x2 + bx + c. At first glance, it may seem difficult to factor trinomials, but you can take advantage of some interesting mathematical patterns to factor even the most difficult-looking trinomials.
MATHEMATICS 8 QUARTER 1 WEEK 1
This course builds upon students’ knowledge of polynomials learned in the previous course. They will
learn how to use the distributive property and greatest common factors to find the factored form
of binomials and how to factor trinomials by grouping. Students will also learn how to recognize
and quickly factor special products. Finally, they’ll get experience combining these techniques
and using them to solve quadratic equations.
MATHEMATICS 8 QUARTER II WEEK 1
MOST ESSENTIAL LEARNING COMPETENCY
Illustrates Linear Inequality in Two Variables
Differentiate Linear Inequality in two variables from linear Equation in two variables
OBJECTIVE:
1. define linear inequalities in two variables
2. illustrate linear inequalities in two variables
3. determine if the given point is a solution to inequality or not.
4. identify if the given linear is an
equation in two variables or inequality in two variable
MATHEMATICS 9
This course is intended for Grade 9 students of LPNHS Almanza.
The course explains the topic on Quadratic Equations. It discussess the basic concepts of quadratic equations and solving quadratic equations using different methods - factoring, square roo method, completing the square and quadratic formula. Real life problems were also given for indepth mastery and application.
Mathematics 9 Quarter 1 Week
A QUADRATIC INEQUALITY is a function whose degree is 2 and where the y is not always exactly equal to the function. These types of functions use symbols called inequality symbols that include the symbols we know as less than, greater than, less than or equal to and greater than or equal to.
Mathematics 9 Quarter 1 Weeks 1 to 4
Mathematics 9 for quarter 1 week 1 includes concepts on Quadratic Equations and Rational Algebraic Equations.
The learner will be able to investigate thoroughly mathematical relationships in various situations, formulate real -life problems involving quadratic equations, inequalities, quadratic functions and rational algebraic expressions/ equations and solve them using a variety of strategies.
This lesson is divided into 6 lessons namely:
Lesson 1: Illustrating Quadratic Equations
Lesson 2: Solve Quadratic Equations using a) Extracting Square Roots; b) Factoring ; c) Completing the Square ; d) Quadratic Formula
Lesson 3: Discriminant and Nature of the Roots
Lesson 4: Sum and Product of the Roots
Lesson 5: Solve Equations Transformable to Quadratic Equations
Lesson 6: Solve Word Problems Involving Quadratic Equations and Rational Algebraic Equations
