Processes and Landforms that occur along Convergent Boundary
This course is intended for Grade 10 learners. It covers the different processes and landforms that occur along convergent boundary.
Convergent plate boundaries are locations where lithospheric plates are moving towards one another. The plate collisions that occur in these areas can produce earthquakes, volcanic activities, formation of new mountains, and crustal deformation. The destruction of crust makes one plate sink under another. The location where sinking of a plate occurs is called a subduction zone.
Most Essential Learning Competencies
Explain the different processes that occur along the plate boundaries (S10ES – Ia-j-36.3)Objectives:
- Explain what happens when oceanic crust and continental crust collide
- Identify the landforms associated with oceanic and continental crust convergence
LPNHS - Almanza LMS Roll Out on Enhancement of DCP through Integration of DEPED LMS
This course is to give an avenue for the teacher-participants of Las Pinas National High School-Almanza to apply what they have learned from their school-based roll out of the Department of Education's Learning Management System (LMS).
