Welcome to the Music and Arts – Grade 9 ADM: This module will help you understand and explore the history of music.

The first quarter is all about the Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque Period in music. Together, let’s go back to where music was evident in the recorded writings of how it flourished in Europe.

Medieval Music is an era from 500-1400. It started from the fall of the Roman Empire to the beginning of the Renaissance. Music at this time was dominated by the Catholic Church because of its sacred songs used for worship.

After the Dark Ages, a new era in history of music followed. It was a period of discovery, innovation and exploration. They call it Renaissance Period (1400-1600). It simply means “rebirth”. Church’ political control was questioned that is why composers had the chance to focus on art, classical mythology and even astronomy and mathematics.

Baroque Period (1600 -1750) in music was considered to finish around the time of Johann Sebastian Bach’s death 1970 and George Frederic Handel 1759. A music full of drama, energetic in spirit, and grandiosity. This also is the scientific discoveries of Galileo and Sir Isaac Newton.

Personal Entreperneurial Competencies (PECs) In this module, you will learn more about entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurship competencies related to Computer Systems Servicing.

Ang kursong ito ay para sa asignaturang Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao- Taon 8 Unang Quarter ng Taon Pampanuruan 2021-2022. 

This course is intended for Grade 9 learners. This contains first quarter topics focusing on the Concepts and Skills in Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM).

This is a specialization course that leads to a Technical Drafting National Certificate Level II (NC II). It covers five (5) core Computer-Aided Drawing (CAD) competencies that a high school student ought to possess, namely: 1) preparing CAD, 2) layout structural details, 3) layout electrical and electronic details, 4) layout sanitary and plumbing details, and 5) layout mechanical details. The preliminaries of this specialization course include the following: 1) discussion of the relevance of the course, 2) explanation of key concepts relative to the course, and 3) exploration of career opportunities.

This module was designed and written with you in mind. It is here to help you develop your skill in Computer System Servicing. The scope of this module permits it to be used in many different learning situations. The language used recognizes the diverse vocabulary level of students. The lessons are arranged to follow the standard sequence of the course. But the order in which you read them can be changed to correspond with the textbook you are now using.

LEAST MASTERED COMPETENCY: Explain how protein is made using information from DNA.

Many ideas have emerged and revolutionized earth sciences in the past. One of these theories is Plate Tectonics, which is well-established and serves as the foundation for our understanding of the structure and dynamics of our planet. Plate tectonics explains various geologic features of the earth's crust, such as mountain formation, earthquakes, and volcanism.

The earth's crusts are divided into plates that move in different directions. As a result, three types of plate boundaries form; we'll look into this further as you work through this module with our plate boundary and the processes it goes through.

Quarter 1 week 5

           In this module, we will study thoroughly the framework that will enable us to understand how and why several features of the Earth continuously change. This theory is what we call “Plate Tectonics.” This describes the events within the Earth that give rise to mountain ranges, volcanoes, earthquake belts, and other features of the Earth’s surface. 

          At the end of Module 1, you are expected to answer the key question below: What is the relationship among the locations of volcanoes, earthquake epicenters, and mountain ranges? 

       In this module, you should be able to: 

1. describe the Earth's lithosphere and differentiate oceanic and continental crust; 

 2. infer that the Earth’s lithosphere is divided into plates; 

3. identify the major lithospheric plates; 4. determine the scientific basis for dividing the lithospheric plates;

Sa modyul na ito ating tuklasin ang mga akdang naisulat ng ating mga ninuno at alamin ang kaugnayan nito sa kasalukuyang panahon. Sa pag-unawa natin sa ang mga akda ay tuklasin ang mga nangyari noon at maihambing ang kasalukuyan.

Ang aralin na ito ay tutugon sa mga pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral na maunawaan ang iba‟t ibang karunungang bayan na naging salamin ng pamumuhay ng ating mga ninuno at kung paano ito napananatili sa mga Pilipino hanggang sa kasalukuyan. Iba‟t ibang gawain ang inihanda para sa mga mag-aaral tulad ng pagbabasa, pagbuo ng malikhaing pag-iisip at pagsusuri ng mga akdang pampanitikan.

Pagkatapos ng modyul na ito, ang mga mag-aaral ay inaasahang;

1. Naipaliliwanag ang mahahalagang kaisipan at sagot sa mga karunungang-bayang napakinggan (F8PB-Ig-h-24)

2. Nauugnay ang mahahalagang kaisipang nakapaloob sa mga karunungang bayan sa mga pangyayari sa tunay na buhay sa kasalukyan (F8PB-Ia-c-22)

This is the first lesson in a series of Homeroom Guidance Lessons for Grade 11. It is hoped that it will help discover the 'Super Hero' in you. Do engage in the tasks assigned for you to accomplish in the LMS.
