Quarter 1/Bread and Pastry Production/G-8 T.L.E.
The Week 2 Course, Baking Ingredients, discusses the different baking ingredients, their characteristics, and uses. In this course, the students will identify the different baking ingredients, appreciate their importance, and apply the use of the ingredients in the right way.
QUARTER 2 SCIENCE WEEK 1
This module emphasizes the skills on how do living things reproduce and how do
they survive in estuaries and intertidal zone. In doing the tasks, you will learn meaningful
ideas and concepts about reproduction and interactions among living things. It contains
a series of activities with directions which will serve as your guide for the weeklong
learning process. You will be required to do certain activities to investigate changes on
your own or with the help of your parents.
RAMOS-QUARTER 1

Objectives: State the definition of utensils and equipment
Identify the differebt cooking utensils ang equipment.
Explain the uses of different cooking utensils and equipment.
Sci 7 Quarter 1: Chemistry
This is a course for Grade 7 Science Students to be completed in the period of First Quarter
SCIENCE 10 - QUARTER 1
In this module, we will study thoroughly the framework that will enable us to understand how
and why several features of the Earth continuously change. This theory is what we call “Plate
Tectonics.”
This describes the events within the Earth that give rise to mountain ranges, volcanoes,
earthquake belts, and other features of the Earth’s surface.
At the end of Module 1, you are expected to answer the key question below:
What is the relationship among the locations of volcanoes, earthquake epicenters, and
mountain ranges?
In this module, you should be able to:
1. describe the Earth's lithosphere and differentiate oceanic and continental crust;
2. infer that the Earth’s lithosphere is divided into plates;
3. identify the major lithospheric plates;
4. determine the scientific basis for dividing the lithospheric plates;
SCIENCE 10 QUARTER 1 (WEEK 1)
The Earth’s structure is divided into four major components: the crust, the mantle, the
outer core, and the inner core. Each layer has a unique chemical composition, physical state,
and can impact life on Earth's surface. Geologists have distinguished these three main
internal subdivisions of the Earth, based on the behavior of seismic waves and laboratory
experiments.
MOST ESSENTIAL LEARNING COMPETENCY:
Describe and relate the distribution of active volcanoes, earthquake epicenters, and
major mountain belts to Plate Tectonic Theory.
OBJECTIVES:
- Describe the Earth's lithosphere and differentiate oceanic and continental crust.
- Infer that the Earth’s lithosphere is divided into
plates.
- Identify the major lithospheric plates.
SCIENCE 10 QUARTER 1 (WEEK 2)
The Philippine Archipelago experienced numerous earthquakes last 2019 and early 2020, ranging from magnitude 1 to magnitude 7.7. Most of these earthquakes were due to the energies carried by the seismic waves released from the interior of the Earth causing the lithospheric plates to move. Earthquakes with magnitude of 5 or above may cause visible damages in light to strong constructions such as houses and buildings, agricultural areas, bridges and even along roads and highways.
If we have three recording stations that can tell how far away from them the earthquake occurred, the epicenter can be determined using the triangulation method.
MOST ESSENTIAL LEARNING COMPETENCYDescribe and relate the distribution of active volcanoes, earthquake epicenters, and major mountain belts to Plate Tectonic Theory.
OBJECTIVES:
1. Recall the characteristics of seismic waves in terms of speed.
2. Locate the earthquake epicenters using the Triangulation method.
SCIENCE 10 QUARTER 1 (WEEK 3)
The earth's surface is covered with multifarious bodies of water and landforms .The earth, indeed ,is aesthetically landscaped ,and such features are of great use to mankind. The structures ,like mountains and volcanoes ,are some of the landforms that attractively capture our eyes. Mountains help abate typhoons while volcanoes may seem quiet and still ,but ,once they exhibit and intense energy, their peaceful state becomes wild. Volcanic eruption is one of nature's deadliest and most destructive phenomena in the world. The effect of volcanic eruptions to humans and environment depends on the intensity and proximity.
SCIENCE 3
Matter
SCIENCE 6 - QUARTER 1
